Facilitators

You can support the next generation of orienteers

Why Facilitate

“My own kids had string courses provided at most events when they were young which made orienteering much more enjoyable for the whole family. I would like to provide this for other families to make them feel welcome and for all ages to feel like there is something for them.” – KID-O Facilitator

Becoming a KID-O Facilitator is more than just teaching kids orienteering basics — it’s about shaping positive first experiences in the outdoors, sport and community.

KID-O is designed to be set up for our young orienteers and their families at an orienteering event. Parent/caregivers remain responsible for their children and the activities have the instructions displayed on posters, giving you the opportunity to complete your own orienteering course.

Help inspire a love of NATURE and NAVIGATION in the next generation of orienteers!
